Laments over Collapsed Bridge
During an interview with Silver Fm reporter, AKWADAA NYAME,
the residents explained that, the contractor who built the bridge did a shoddy work
resulting in flooding whenever it rains.
They further said that, the bridge has become risky in such a
way that, the children, pregnant women and the aged in the community are not
able to pass by especially when it rains.
In relating to this, they revealed to our reporter that, the
community lacks Health centers which make it difficult for them to seek for
health assistant.
Also, they complained that, they have to travel a mile away
before they can seek for
health assistant. They said,” pregnant women are
really suffering during child delivery and one nearly died when her time was
due to bring forth.
They are therefore pleading with the government
to come to their aid.
