Abrepo-Bronikrom; Residents call for relocation of Dump Site

Residents of Bronikrom, a suburb of Abrepo in the Bantama Constituency of the Ashanti Region are complaining bitterly about sitting of their dumping site.

The garbage site is situated in their cemetery which is close to most of their houses.

The residents revealed this in an interview with Silver FM’s Nana Adu Katakyie.

They also lamented about the uncalled for treatment of the drunkard dump attendant to residents. 

According to them, the ghastly nature of the place is due to the poor attitude of the attendant.

“He is not capable to doing the work. He always leaves the trash bin unattended when full and disposed the rest on the ground making life unbearable for the people”.

They said, “We are really suffering from mosquito bites, odor from the refuse and other airborne diseases such as skin rashes”.

They are therefore pleading with those in authority, local government etc. to come to their aid.
