Abinkyi, Authorities demolishes Afia Kobi Market
 Authorities of Afia Serwaa Kobi Ampem Market formerly of Abinkyi Market have demolished abandoned stores in the Market.

Speaking in an interview with SIR JAKE ONLINE.COM, Mr. Henry Nyarko revealed that, those abandoned stores serves as a haven for squatters which has breed robbers and other recalcitrant people at the Market.
 

According to him, people find it difficult to come for stores at Abinkyi due to high wave of crimes going on at the market especially at night.

He said this demolishing exercise that has started will now help boost trades and other project that will help ensure the well being of the market.
 

He also stated that, by evacuating the squatters from the market will also attract their colleagues from Central Market, Race course who are not getting themselves a place to come for shops at Abinkyi Market.

"We are looking forward for more sellers to come for stores at this place especially shoe makers", he said.

Maa Jane, the deputy PRO for the market also expressed his dissatisfaction on the bad activities going on at market.
