Asotwe; Assembly member unveils watchdog to combat crimes

The Hon. Assembly member for Asotwe electoral, Madam Lydia Nantwi Boateng together with the Asotwe traditional council, have inaugurated 25 men watchdog committee in the electoral area.

According to the Assembly woman, the rationale behind this is to help the Ejisu

Divisional Police Command to reduced crime rate that has earned Asotwe a bad name in the Ejisu Municipal.

She finally advised and motivated the men who had volunteered to corroborate and work hard to support the people of Asotwe.

She therefore commends the traditional council for the support of free insurance cover they had provided for the watchdog committee.

The Ejisu divisional Police Commander, ACP Stephen Tane Ngissah  advised the men that as they are into this work they are to act as security men who had volunteered to protect the people and not to take the law into their own hands.

He added that, they should do away with favoritism to offer effective security in the Asotwe community.
