Abrepo; Authorities Provide SWITCH to
reduce power shortage
The Assembly
Member for Abrepo electoral, Bantama constituency, Hon. Ohemeng area together
with the Chief of Abrepo-Kuma Nana Baffour Osei Twafour Yaw II have provided High
tension switch that will help stabilized power distribution in the area.
According to
the Hon. Assembly Member for the Abrepo electoral Area, this “SWITCH” will not
be connected to Abrepo a lone but towns like Amanfrom and even people of Suame
are going to benefit from this project.
He also
revealed that, due to the shortage of electricity in the area, there is high
crime rate in the community, especially Abrepo, High ways and Asuogya.
The Assembly
Member finally disclosed that, they have encountered many challenges about this
project but since it will benefit the whole community they are still working on
it to help stabilized Power in his electoral area.
The Power
Distribution Service contractor, Mr. Francis Adu-Sei Also explained how this
SWITCH is going to benefit the community and expressed his worried about some
problems he encountered with some residents’ who claimed ownership of the place
where the project is going to be established.
