New Curriculum Training: GES Applauds Gnacops for setting the pace

The Ghana National Council Of Private Schools, GNACOPS in collaboration with the MoE through the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment has successfully implemented the training of private school teachers on the Common Core Program, CCP, and the Standard-Based Curriculum, SBC, across the country.

According to the council's Executive Director, Mr Enoch Kwasi Gyetuah, more than three thousand seven hundred and  nine private school teachers have been trained in some part of five out of the sixteen regions in the country.

This according to the Director mentioned that some part of the Greater Accra region, the Ashanti region, the Eastern region, some part of Central region and the Ahafo region have received the training.
He emphasized that there are a lot more of the training to be done even for the regions that the implementation has been successful.

Queried about why the Private Schools' Council is not doing it with GES, he emphatically stated that GES are policy implementers just as all Private Schools in the country.

"As I'm  speaking with you now , the training is going on in Peduase and Nsawam in the Eastern region. It will surprise you to know that GES has applauded Gnacops for setting the pace as they also prepare to org goodanise it for their teachers.

The Municipal Director for the Ghana Education Service at Nsawam Adoagyiri in the Eastern region, Mr Hayford Awuah honoured the ongoing training at Nsawam and called on all Private School teachers to take part fully of the training organized  by Gnacops" Mr Gyetuah stated.
