Bohyen- Adumanu Chairman proved his dissatisfaction on outrageous road
 

The Unity Committee Chairman for Bohyen electoral area in the Bantama Constituency, Mr. Charles Osei has proved his dissatisfaction about the state of dreadful street that link Bohyen and Adumanu.

In an interview with SILV ER FM reporter Nana Adu, the Chairman revealed that the main reason of constructing the street was to enhanced movement of people and other vehicular activities in the electoral area but it has been abandoned by the MP and the Assembly.

He also stated that, the residents have been complaining about the deplorable street that link the two communities on how they are being attack by robbers during the night.

“If that street has been constructed, the people will be pleased with the authorities especially the MP, and the issue of traffic on the main street will also be reduced” he said.

He is therefore appealing to the MP, Hon. Daniel Okyem Aboagye and the Assembly to come and complete the unfinished project to boost trading activities in the area.

Ampabame, Adumanu road residents deplore over collapsed bridge 


Residents of Ampabame and Adumanu in the Bohyen electoral area, Bantama constituency have expressed their grievances about the state of their dreadful bridge which links the main road from Ampabame to Adumanu.


In an interview with Silver news, some of the residents review that the contractor did shoddy work which has made it difficult for them to ply the road when it rains.

They also disclosed that, you could clearly feel the road vibrating when heavy truck is passing by.


Speaking with the Unity Committee Chairman for Bohyen electoral, Mr. Charles Osei, he also stated that, the authorities of Bohyen electoral has petitioned the Assembly and they gave it to a contractor but he cannot explained the reason why the road and the bridge has started deteriorating.
He finally said, the bridge has been constructed, but since it has started weakening, the government and the Authorities should come to their aid before the worse happen.

Asubonten-Kokoso residents lament over collapsed foot bridge


Residents of Asubonten-Kokoso in the Bantama constituency are complaining bitterly about their collapsed foot bridge which links the two communities.
Speaking in an interview with SILVER NEWS, some of the residents revealed that, the bridge has been collapsed twice due to the widening course of the river.

They also expressed that they find it difficult to pass by whenever it rains. Since it is the main route for the people living in the community, Student find it difficult to cross the bridge. If care is not taken the risky state of the route may cause harm to the residents es

The students who ply that route also grieved about the dangers of the bridge that has been buckled by the recent downpour.
“We are not able to cross the bridge to school when the river overflows. We also have to wait till a benevolent have to pass by”they said.

They are therefore pleading with the government to respond immediately before the worst happen.
