Prioritize ‘Soko Dua’-producers to
Ghanaians
Chewing
stick Producers Association of Kumasi has advice Ghanaians to patronize and
prioritize the use of the chewing stick which is also popularly known in the
local parlance as ‘soko dua’ in the country.
According to
them, many Ghanaians don’t know the benefit or how the chewing stick
product
help built strong teeth and healthy gum that is why they have choose to use the
chemical tooth paste to that of the stick.
They also
said the chewing stick (soko dua) has essential calcium and fiber and other
nutrients of which if they are to pay attention to, it will help solve many
toothaches through the process of exercising the jaw.
They added that, most often, people get weak gum and other mouth diseases because of the chemical tooth paste which it calcium is produced from the laboratory.
“The soko
dua cure breast diseases, abdominal pains and other related diseases, I will
therefore urge Ghanaians not to abandoned the chewing stick in their daily
activities”, one woman added.
