Herbal Doctors Appeals, for President Akufo-Addo to Endorse Traditional Medicine


The Universal Plant Medicine and Traditional Healers Association are appealing to the President of Republic of Ghana,Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to endorse herbal medicine to encourage more Ghanaians patronize it.

Addressing the media, the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Hepa Plus Mixture who is a member of the Association, Dr Ebenezer Agyemang said the president's endorsement, will instill more confidence in Ghanaians who are now contemplating on the use and safety of herbal medicine.

Again, just as the president added his voice to the use of
Dawadawa,Kontomire and other vegetables during the covid-19 had positive effect on the economy*

Dr Agyemang therefore called on the first gentleman of the land to endorse the use of herbal medicine.

Meanwhile,Dr Issah Nyamekye who is the vice president of the Association also added that, Ghana is fortunate to have started offering degree programmes in herbal medicine and as pioneers of adding science and evidence based herbal medicine not only in West Africa but the whole of Africa,it will be suicidal if we sit down, watch herbal medicine move at a tortoise pace and create more employment is Ghanaians society.

Residents Of Brokron in the Afigya Kwabre South District have spotted on two pythons at the bank of the Community river called Nkalan.

Speaking to the Assembly Member for Brokron electoral area, Hon. Philip Sarkodie Addo stated that, the Nkalan river was desilted 6 years ago but just recently, he was informed by some of the residents that, they have seen two pythons along the river side where he also sent the report to the Chiefs in the area for rituals to be made to pacify the gods.

He said, all libations poured to send these two pythons to their origin prove futile where they made a called on the Kumasi Zoological Center to come and pick them up.

Hon. Philip Sarkodie Addo commended the zoologists who came for these two pythons as it has bring a big relief to the people though the pythons didn't harm any body since they came to the community.

BONO REGION:  GROUP APPEALS TO PRESIDENT TO NOMINATE KOFI BADU AS DCE IN BANDA DISTRICT


We the Banda Bongase Concern Citizen Association in Banda Constituency of the Bono Region are appealing to His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, our NPP Regional Chairman,Kwame Baffoe  (Chairman  Abronye) and NPP Executives in the Banda Constituency to consider Kofi Badu as DCE in Banda District in the second of Nana Addo government.
 
According to the group, Kofi Badu is a leading member of the governing NPp who double as Businessman and Professional Teacher can lead the people in the District in to the promise land.

The Banda Bongase Concern Citizen Association chairman, Alhaji Yusssif Sule said, they wish if  Nana Addo consider Mr Badu as a District Chief Executive for the area to help fast track development in the area because of his devotion, dedication to duty and personal contribution to the area as well as the party in diverse ways.

Some of the members in the Association also added that, they believed that, NPP can win Banda parlimentary site when the president consider Mr Badu as DCE in Banda District through his competitive and hard work.

STOP ENCROACHING BAREKESE DAM - BAREKESE CHIEF WARNS



The Chief at Barekese in the Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency of the Ashanti Region, Okofo Amoapem Brenya l  has question the sub chiefs and other people who have been encroachers  the BAREKESE DAM for farming, building and other activities which characterized by a high level of deforestation to desist from that.

According to Nana , the aforementioned illegality has been happening for so many years which is not helping to prevent the DAM for the people in the Ashanti Region.

 Addressing the press Today at the WORLD WATER DAY CELEBRATION he said Barekese Dam serves about more than 80 % population in the Ashanti Region.

He therefore appealed to each and everyone to help to prevent the DAM to last longer in the country.

Meanwhile, the Chief at Barekese Zongo , Chief Issaka Amadu Ramadan Il also urged the public to keep the DAM clean.

He also added that, government should help the people in the area to do maintance   at Barekese  and Owabe Dam for the people in the Ashanti Region to get portable water to drink.

Obuasi Vawlence Wedding: Richard Agu steel the show with stunning photos with Bride 

Military men from the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) stole the show at the controversial Obuasi wedding which is took off in the mining town.

The wedding is arguably the wedding of the year considering the traction it has gotten on social media and all the controversies associated with it.

Social media got news of the wedding yesterday after a lady posted on Facebook threatening to cause commotion at the event scheduled for today. She claimed she has been jilted by the groom whom she took care of in the hopes of marrying him.

Despite the fact that all eyes are on Obuasi to know the outcome of the most controversial wedding of the decade, friends and colleagues of the groom Richard Agu, who is a military man, have stormed the wedding in their numbers to share in their brother’s love.

They looked unperturbed as they mounted the podium to sing and dance their hearts out at Richard’s wedding.

Let’s keep our fingers crossed since the wedding is not over yet. Maybe Comfort Bliss might come around to cause commotion as promised.
