Be Professional; avoid Partisan Politics-Journalists told

Mr Emmanuel K. Dogbevi, has urged all journalists to be well-mannered in the course of
discharging their duties.

He said there is the need for the Media to be well equipped to come out with factual and reliable information in their publications.

Mr. Dogbevi who was the Facilitator of the Program organized for the Media Personnel by the Ashanti Regional National Peace Council, advised journalists not to engaged in politics as Journalism is a sensitive work in every democratic state.

He added that, the frequency modulation Numbers given to politician to established radio and TV stations is not encouraging the media to be free and fair which should not be done in a democratic country.

He advises journalists to be professional not to utter any utterances which will destabilized the state.

”The Media is the bedrock of every democratic state so if you’re a journalist, it is your duty to uncover what is hidden in the nation, your are supposed to be independent and free to throw light on what Ghanaians don’t know”, he enlightened.
